It all started with a Tinder match… because apparently, sometimes swiping right actually works.

On February 10, 2021, Nick picked Lindsay up from her dorm at Southern for their first date. They headed to a park down the road, where what was supposed to be a casual first date somehow turned into five hours of talking about everything and anything. No awkward silences, no running out of things to say, being together just felt easy from the start.

At the end of the night, Nick brought Lindsay back to her dorm and, before saying goodbye, asked if he could hug her. Yes, asked permission to hug her. Somehow, that tiny moment told Lindsay everything she needed to know. There was something different about him, and she had a feeling pretty early on that he might just be the one.

Since then, they’ve filled the years with ski trips, fishing trips, and plenty of last minute adventures.

Now, nearly six years after that first Tinder date, they’re heading to Cancun to make it official, with all of their favorite people there to celebrate!
